About Kerjakan

Get it done — with someone local who wants the work.

Last updated 17 July 2026

Kerjakan means "get it done". That's the whole idea.

Every neighbourhood in Malaysia already has the people you need. Someone two streets away has mounted a hundred TVs. Someone in the next block services aircond for a living and has a free afternoon. The work exists and the skill exists — they just can't find each other. So the tap keeps dripping for another month, and a good tradesperson sits idle waiting on word of mouth.

Kerjakan is how the two find each other. You describe the job and what you're willing to pay. Local traders who want it send you their price. You pick the one you like, agree between yourselves, and get it done.

Why we built it

Finding someone reliable usually means asking around and hoping. Getting hired usually means waiting for someone to pass on your number. Both sides deserve better than luck.

We think the person who does good work should get more of it, and that should depend on the work itself — not on who they happen to know. A rating you earned on real jobs should travel with you and open the next door.

How it works

  • Post what you need. The job, where it is, and your budget. Free, and it takes a minute.
  • Get offers. Local traders send their price and how they'd approach it. Compare their ratings and past work.
  • Pick one. Accept an offer and agree the details in the chat.
  • Get it done, and pay directly. Cash, or scan the QR on their phone. Then you both leave a review.

What we stand for

  • The work speaks. Ratings come from real completed jobs, from both sides. A tasker rates a client too.
  • Local first. Built for how Malaysia actually works — our states, our cities, our trades, our way of paying.
  • No games with the price. The number you agree is the number. We don't bury a fee in it.
  • Anyone can start. No membership, no lead fees, no queue. Make your profile and quote on a job today.

Keeping it safe

A marketplace is only worth using if you can trust the other side. Here's what we actually do — and what we don't:

  • Reviews both ways. Clients rate taskers, taskers rate clients. Nobody is anonymous to the person they worked with.
  • Verified taskers. Traders can submit their IC or SSM for a verified badge. Those documents are kept private and never published.
  • Contact details stay off the chat. Phone numbers, emails and account numbers are hidden from messages. It keeps the conversation here, where we can see what was agreed if a dispute comes up — and it keeps your details out of a stranger's hands.
  • We read the chat when there's a dispute. If something goes wrong, our team can review the conversation to work out what happened. Every time we do, that access is recorded.
  • Report anything. A job or a person can be reported from the app, and we act on it.

What we don't do: we don't hold your money, and we don't insure the work. Payment is between you and the person you hired, so agree the price and what "done" looks like before anyone starts. We're the introduction and the record of it — not a party to your agreement.

We're just getting started

Kerjakan is new. You're early, and that means the platform is still taking its shape around what you need from it. If something is broken, missing, or just annoying, we'd genuinely like to hear it — early users decide what this becomes.
